What a blessing to share a Thanksgiving meal with our community. It was chilly, but honestly, when you’re out there serving, none of that matters. The Lord makes such beautiful connections, and we’re so blessed that we get to be His hands and feet in our city. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make tonight possible. We’ll start a little group chat and make a plan. If we gather enough people, we could set up downtown together and share some Thanksgiving meals and the love of Jesus. As Namesake Ministries continues to hit the streets and winter is right around the corner, we’re seeing the need for warm clothing approaching quickly. WE NEED MEN’S CLOTHING! We’re especially looking for winter coats, winter boots and sleeping bags, along with anything else that can help keep someone warm: hoodies, blankets, long johns, gloves, toques, scarves, socks, hand warmers and foot warmers. These donations go directly into the hands of those who need them most. A coat, a pair of boots or a warm sleeping bag can make a real difference for someone facing the cold on the streets. We’re accepting donations all the time! Message us to arrange a donation or find out how you can get involved. Praise the Lord for another beautiful afternoon se Praise the Lord for another beautiful afternoon serving His kingdom and sharing the hope we find in Jesus Christ! 🙌 When we go into the streets, we meet so many people who have lost hope. Some have been trapped in addiction, hurt, loneliness, or trauma for so long that they believe nothing can change. Others feel too far gone to believe that a loving God could still want a relationship with them. Some people may be doing well outwardly, but pride or a belief that they have accomplished everything on their own can make it difficult to recognize their need for Him. Whatever our circumstances, we all need Jesus. Today, we shared His love through our words and through our actions. We showed up, listened, served, and walked alongside people. When we share our testimonies of what the Lord has done, we give others hope that their story can change too. Chains can be broken. Lives can be restored. Nobody is beyond His reach. If the Lord could save and change someone like me, I know there is hope for anyone. ❤️ Tonight, we are praying for everyone who feels far from God, whatever the reason may be. Whether it is pride, hurt, depression, loneliness, trauma, pain, or addiction, you are not too far gone. Your past does not put you beyond His mercy, and your life still has purpose. Jesus says: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28, KJV You may feel like you have made a million wrong turns, but you do not have to retrace every step before coming to Jesus. It only takes one turn toward Him to begin coming home. Bring Him your burdens, your brokenness, and your struggles. Come on home. His invitation is still open. ❤️
Praise Jesus! What an incredible day downtown. As Praise Jesus! What an incredible day downtown. As the Day of Atonement begins tonight, I’m reminded of what Jesus did for us on the cross. He gave His life so that we could live, and today we had the privilege of sharing that good news with our brothers and sisters who are so often overlooked and forgotten. Today we served sandwiches and iced coffee, gave out clothing and Bibles, and shared the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ. We also added something new to our ministry: haircuts! Two barbers and a hairdresser came out to serve, and it was a huge success. Thank you for using your gifts to care for people in such a personal way. We had some beautiful connections, too. One woman we met has been living on the streets for two years. Today, we helped her reconnect with her mother. She told her mom she was tired of being on the streets and asked for help. Her mother and brother are coming to pick her up and bring her home, where she’ll be able to see her children and grandchildren. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. I also ran into a man who recognized me from Montreal. He remembered meeting me outside a Walmart in August 2024, when I was there for my mother’s funeral. He told me I had bought him food and spent about 20 minutes talking with him about Jesus. I was grieving at the time, and I honestly didn’t remember our conversation until he told me. Now, more than two years later, we crossed paths again on the other side of Canada. What a reminder that God can use us wherever we are, even in the middle of our hardest days. Acts 1:8 tells us that the Holy Spirit gives us power to be witnesses for Jesus, from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. That is the call I want to live by. Thank you to everyone who came out today. I’m so grateful for each of you, and I’m blessed to see the Lord continuing to grow this ministry. It all belongs to Him. We are simply willing vessels in His hands. We’re incredibly blessed that we had the opportuni We’re incredibly blessed that we had the opportunity to be out serving our community yesterday. ❤️ It was a heavy day. The drugs on the streets were especially dangerous, and we witnessed six individuals on the verge of losing their lives. But yesterday, we watched the Lord walk six people back from the edge of the grave. He is the Grave Robber. 🙏 Through the presence and alertness of our team, the incredible response of Calgary paramedics, and the power of the Holy Spirit working through people willing to step into the brokenness, six souls were given another day. Another day to fight. Another day to heal. Another day to find freedom. Another day to encounter Jesus. We don’t know what God will do with that extra day, but we know their stories weren’t meant to end on the street yesterday. Thank you to every person who came out and served. Days like this can take an emotional toll, but they also remind us why showing up matters. If you have a heart for people and want to serve your community, we would love to have you come alongside us. You don’t even have to be a believer in Christ to join us. You just need compassion, a willingness to serve, and a heart for those who are lost, hurting, struggling, or forgotten. Come serve with us. Come love your neighbour. PRAISE JESUS! 🙌 THE LORD IS SO GOOD! God is movin PRAISE JESUS! 🙌 THE LORD IS SO GOOD! God is moving, and it’s such a beautiful thing to watch His children coming home to Him. ❤️ Yesterday, at our Breaking Bread gathering, we were incredibly blessed to witness another baptism—another person publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ and choosing to follow Him! There is nothing more beautiful than watching someone surrender the old life and step forward into the new life Christ has given them. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 All glory belongs to Jesus. We’re simply blessed to have a front-row seat to what He is doing. WELCOME HOME! 🙏❤️🔥

YOU EVER SEEN A BAPTISM IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK??? 🙌🔥💧 “We were buried with Him through baptism… in order that… we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4 PRAISE THE LORD! What an amazing day. So many people came out to volunteer, support the ministry & simply be the salt & the light. I’m so grateful for every person who showed up to support what God is doing. I couldn’t do any of this without all of you, but most importantly, I couldn’t do any of it without God. When I think about where my life was just a few short years ago, addiction, depression, loneliness, brokenness & separated from God, my wife, my children & my family, then look at what Jesus Christ has done in my life today, I can only say: PRAISE GOD. Through the restoring power of Jesus Christ, I have been made new. He restored my family, gave me purpose & replaced darkness with light, loneliness with love & emptiness with a desire to serve Him. Now I get to go out with an incredible family of believers & help others discover that same hope & restoration through Jesus Christ. Today reminded me again that church was never meant to exist only inside four walls. WE ARE THE CHURCH. Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Mark 10:45 That truth has been heavy on my heart lately. So many of us want to be the best servants in the church, but what if our focus was on becoming the best servants of GOD? We should honor our pastors & leaders, but they are not our ultimate standard. JESUS IS THE STANDARD. HIS WORD IS THE STANDARD. HIS KINGDOM IS THE MISSION. When Christ is our benchmark, His Word challenges us, our ministries, our churches & our leaders. But most importantly, it challenges ME. That is where refinement, growth & transformation happen. Today we served. Today we loved. Today we fellowshipped. & today someone publicly declared their new life in Christ. ALL GLORY TO JESUS. 🙌🔥. 10,000 MEALS HANDED OUT!! 🙌❤️✝️ Praise our Lord a 10,000 MEALS HANDED OUT!! 🙌❤️✝️ Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Yesterday was bittersweet. Being away on vacation meant missing outreach for the first time, but our amazing team carried everything forward and reached an incredible milestone: Our 10,000th meal was handed out! Along the way, we’ve also handed out over 500 Bibles, plus countless socks, blankets, winter coats, clothing and other necessities. But the greatest blessing isn’t the numbers. It’s sharing the Gospel, praying with people and watching lives change. We’ve seen people come off the streets into detox and rehab, and even into homes of their own. This started with me walking the streets alone, connecting with people and sharing the hope, love and salvation found only in Jesus Christ. What it has become is beyond anything I imagined, and I truly believe this is only the beginning. Thank you to everyone who volunteers, donates, gives clothing or food, prepares meals and prays for this ministry. ❤️ A special thank you to @experience.church and Pastors Jonathan @ecnatasha for their continued support, including helping provide our food and Bibles. Thank you to Pastor @jasonklammer & Pastor @liz_klammer for your spiritual support and encouragement. Thank you to Spring Church for continuing to provide devotional books. Thank you to Pastor @jeremyprest & @thrivedailyshow for your support and desire to serve alongside us. And thank you to Grace Point Church & Pastor Brian for supporting us and serving alongside us with your youth. One vision the Lord placed on my heart was bringing different churches together to serve as one Body of Christ. Today, our ministry has people from 17 different churches serving side by side. Different churches. Different gifts. One Lord. One Gospel. One Body. “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27 Most of all, thank You, Father. Thank You, Jesus. None of the glory belongs to us. It all belongs to You. 10,000 meals down, and by the grace of God, we’re only getting started! 🙌❤️✝️

It’s such a blessing to see people giving their time, energy, and hearts to serve others. Every sandwich prepared, every conversation shared, and every act of kindness is another opportunity to show our community the love of Jesus. Tomorrow we get to take that love to the streets—to serve, encourage, pray, and remind people that they are seen and valued. AMAZING MILESTONES — ALL GLORY TO GOD! Hey everyo AMAZING MILESTONES — ALL GLORY TO GOD! Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to share a couple of amazing milestones with you all. Thank you to everyone who continues to help out and a special thank you to @experience.church for not only believing but also helping me with a lot of the food , bibles, willing vessels , discipleship amongst other things as well!! ❤️ This upcoming outreach, we will hand out our 10,000th meal in just the last two years. That is a milestone I honestly never could have imagined when this started. But God is so good, and He continues to surpass anything we could have imagined. And it goes far beyond the meals. 👕 Over 500 garbage bags of clothing distributed 🧥 Over 500 winter coats last year alone 🧦 Thousands of pairs of socks 🔥 Thousands of hand warmers 🛏️ Hundreds of blankets most importantly, handing out over 500 Bibles. .. all these other things are great, but the most important thing is sharing the good news… allowing everyone the opportunity for eternal life that only comes through Jesus Christ And behind every one of those numbers is a person. Someone who was fed. Someone who was kept warm. Someone who was prayed for. Someone who was reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved. But the greatest thing we have been able to give isn’t something that comes in a bag or on a plate. It’s the hope and good news of Jesus Christ. So thank you to every single person who has remained committed to serving the Kingdom. Whether you’ve cooked meals, sorted clothing, picked up donations, prayed with someone, served on the streets, donated, cleaned up, or helped behind the scenes — you are part of every one of these milestones.

Getting the warehouse/donation center in order! 🙌 Getting the warehouse/donation center in order! 🙌 We’ve been growing so fast and receiving so many amazing donations that we’ve honestly been running out of space. What an incredible problem to have! God has blessed this ministry with so much, and now it’s time for us to make sure we’re being good stewards of everything He has provided. Tonight we started putting up more shelving and getting everything organized, and we’ll be back at it again tomorrow. Soon, we’ll finally have a proper place for all the clothing and donations so our teams can sort everything efficiently and get it into the hands of the people who need it most. A huge thank you to all my brothers in Christ who came out tonight to help, and to those coming tomorrow as well. This is what the Body of Christ looks like—different people, different gifts, but all working together for one purpose. “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 And I love this one when I think about all the brothers coming together: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17 Little by little, shelf by shelf, donation by donation, we’re getting things in order and preparing for what God is doing next. Some came because they simply needed someone to care. ❤️ Every Sunday reminds us that ministry isn't about numbers—it's about names, stories, and people created in the image of God. We shared meals, clothing, conversations, and prayers. We laughed together, cried with some, and watched strangers become friends. Sometimes the greatest miracle isn't something dramatic—it's someone realizing they're not invisible. Thank you to every volunteer who gave up part of their weekend to love Calgary well.
